Fins up, y’all.

The recent passing of musician turned restauranteur Jimmy Buffett has devastated millions of fans. One particular “parrothead” decided to memorialize the “Escape to Margaritaville” singer with one last thirst trap.

“Remembering Jimmy the best way we know. Listening to Margaritaville on [Suiris] XM and chillin’ in the pool,” @celticmermaid1.0 captioned her Instagram thirst trap. Her post was then screenshotted and uploaded to Reddit's r/ImTheMAinCharacter.

Most of the reactions were appreciative of her memorial, “It’s what Jimmy would have wanted.” Though others saw her post as bad taste. Listen, Boomers love Jimmy Buffett. Boomers also love boobs. The post is a match made in heaven.

Anytime a celebrity dies, the internet goes back and forth on what is acceptable to post on social media. Is it a bit conceited when an actor or singer posts the one photo they had with a deceased legend to just talk about themselves mostly? Yeah, but if said legend is laid-back tropical rock star Jimmy Buffett, then put the bikini on and run to the nearest body of water.
